Green Rock Retreat is a natural 50-acre sanctuary perched on the rim of the Crooked River Gorge 30 miles North of Bend, OR. The alcohol-free property is off-grid and runs entirely on solar power.On retreat, we observe noble silence every morning until after breakfast because we believe that time in silence combined with nature can heal and nourish the nervous system. You and your group will be catered to by Green Rock’s onsite chef who will provide tailored meals to support and enhance your retreat.

    An ancient meditation and prayer tool, the labyrinth can help us connect to the divine within and is a metaphor for our life’s path. Let go of your thinking mind and surrender to the experience of being guided through this portal.

    TIPI

    Our sacred Tipi is filled with soft beach sand from the Oregon coastline. It can be utilized as a gathering space for about 20 people or as a private spa location for a massage or another form of therapeutic support for your group on retreat.

  • SACRED SPLASH POOL

    Slip away to take a silent moment for yourself before sunrise, mid-day, or sunset. Enjoy a nourishing dip, lounge, and bask in breathtaking views as you soak, rest, relax, and let the water cleanse your feet and being. The hike up to the top is worth it, we promise.

  • Multi Purpose Barn Studio

    Meet our new and improved barn studio! This space now features an open floor plan with the capacity to hold sacred ceremonies, meditations, art expression, music, yoga and other healing movement, as well as a communal library. We have outfitted the space with art supplies, books, crystals, primal instruments, and brand new Manduka yoga and meditation gear! This space is here to hold you and provide a peaceful and safe container for exploration and growth!

    Located across from the Prayer Tree, this naturally-formed cave holds space for you to sit, be witnessed by Buddha (representative of your higher self), and let go of anything you’ve been holding on to.

    A private 24-foot yurt, nestled within its own ring of Juniper trees, can hold space for a personal yoga or meditation practice or host additional vendors/offerings (e.g., massage therapy, energy work, etc.) in a retreat setting.

FACILIATOR FAQS

  • A: We have seven permanent luxury platform tent sites that can host 17 guests. We can host an additional 13 guests in our luxury non-permanent bell tents for 30 attendees in total. The number of facilitator accommodations available depends on how large your guest count is.

  • A: Yes, Green Rock retreat requires an initial deposit to reserve your requested dates, a secondary deposit is due 30 days prior to your event date, and the remaining balance is due before the start date of your retreat. Initial deposits depend on the length and intended size of your retreat.

  • A: Yes, flexible payment schedules are available—please contact nicoleamanda@greenrock.com directly to find a plan that works for you.

  • We have an onsite personal chef for you and your group. The retreat pricing includes all meals, beverages, and afternoon snacks. We can accommodate all dietary restrictions. We believe excellent healthy food served with love adds so much to the overall retreat experience. We have a relationship with Rainshadow Organics, a local family owned organic farm just across the canyon where we source only seasonal home grown ingredients!

  • A: Green Rock Retreat is a Semi-Silent Spiritual Retreat Center. To honor our belief that time in silence combined with nature can heal and nourish the nervous system, we observe SILENT MORNINGS from sunrise through breakfast. Exceptions to the silence may include yoga teaching and devotional chanting such as Kirtan.

    We are an alcohol-free and tobacco property.

    We love pets, but they are too distracting for a retreat setting. Pets are not allowed for any bookings.

    No food is allowed in tents. We ask that any food brought by attendees be kept in their car or the inside kitchen. Those booking a nightly stay must bring their own cooler to store food and will have access to a small, shared fridge.

    There is limited power at tents sights. Phone charging stations are provided at the community pavilion, but phone charging and the use of other electric items is not available at the tent sights.

    There is no wifi for guests. Enjoy being unplugged! Facilitators have wifi access in some spaces if needed.

  • A: All seven platform luxury tent sites include the following amenities:

    Private outdoor showers and bathrooms

    Dani Naturals bathing products

    Organic cotton towels

    Flushing toilets

    Fans and limited lighting

    Gas fireplace

    Camping stovetop and kettle for tea/coffee at the pavilion

    Queen and single-bed options

    Organic linens and comforters

    Private deck with outdoor seating

    Yoga and mediation equipment

    Additional non-permanent bell tents offer all the same amenities minus private bathrooms, fans, fireplaces and private deck spaces. Bell tents include semi-private composting outhouses, and outdoor shower spaces. These restrooms are shared only with other bell tent accommodations.

  • A:

    Each tent can host anywhere from 1-3 people. We are flexible with configurations varying from twin to queen options.

  • A: There is an AT&T cell tower very close to the property that works very well. Limited wifi is located in the barn house for facilitators' use only. There is no wifi access for nightly stays/bookings—please plan accordingly.

  • A: We offer a FULL refund of your deposit and all money paid towards your retreat IF we are able to book that weekend with another retreat. If not, please contact Nicole-Amanda directly at nicoleamanda@greenrockretreat.com to discuss your options.

  • A: Yes we have free onsite parking in designated areas only. To maintain the integrity of our walking paths, we ask that vehicles do not drive on them. All tent sights are a short walk from parking areas, please plan accordingly.
